Steps to Upgrade Java on a Windows Computer

1.  Exit all programs.

2.  Go to the control panel.

• Windows 2000/Me it is under Start and settings
• Windows XP it is under Start

3.  Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

4.  Remove anything that says Java 2 or Java webstart and restart the computer.

5.  Go to the Java website http://www.java.com/en/download.
